We were very pleased to have a call from Alison at St Helena Hospice to ask us to help with their appeal to Expand, Improve and Enhance their facilities in Colchester.

The appeal, entitled ‘Room to Care’ is looking to raise money for a building project that will provide accommodation for 5 more people within the hospice and update and upgrade a lot of the equipment throughout the existing building, increasing the quantity of care offered and improving the quality.

St Helena Hospice provides specialist medical and nursing care to thousands of local people each year, supporting them and their families, friends and carers. Only a third of their funding comes from the NHS, the rest from the community it serves, who give very generously year on year.

We have developed the brick built heart logo for the campaign along with a ‘mini’ brochure – to hand out at fundraising events – which explains the reason for the appeal, a little background information and the plans for the development of The Hospice.

“A HUGE, MASSIVE thanks for helping pull the mini-brochure together so we have it for our two June events – the first of which is next Wed. Wanted to let you know how much I’ve appreciated your input.” Gill – Appeal Director St Helena Hospice.
